YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. WE THE ANSWERS.

Who, how, what, where, whom and why.

What is a Rainbow Day?

Rainbow Days are career and contact fairs that stand for diversity. It is especially interesting for the queer community to visit.

Is it worthwhile for me to visit the Rainbow-Days?

An exchange is always worthwhile. In a dialogue at eye level, all visitors can find out which of the companies is the "perfect match" for their own interests and ideals. Where do I feel valued with my personality and my CV?

Another exciting aspect of a career fair day is that the large number of companies I can meet also leaves me with a large number of impressions. Where else can I have such an immediate "feeling of comparison" for my decision-making process for a (new) job?

Does a Rainbow Day cost admission? Can I (or do I have to) register in advance?

All services on site are free of charge for visitors, including admission, of course. It is possible to come spontaneously, but for your and our planning we recommend that you register in advance for all other fairs except Frankfurt (there at the Unicampus). This is very easy via this link. Otherwise: come as you are.

Who do I meet at a Rainbow-Day?

Companies that see themselves as open-minded employers, who do not see diversity as just a buzzword. We don't want pinkwashing, we want Rainbow Days to be real conversations about important issues. The employees on site are mostly from the specialist departments and staff. The colorful mix of people at Rainbow Days makes for a conversational atmosphere that is a pleasure to be in.

Who can come to a Rainbow Day?

Everyone who lives and values diversity is invited to Rainbow Days.

How do I prepare for a Rainbow-Day?

The exhibitors of the individual events and their company profiles are published on the website in good time before the Rainbow Days. Who is looking for which department?

The Rainbow-Days have a very important content focus, because it is about the people and the respective characteristics of their own personality. Often, the companies are looking for new employees in parallel within their industries, so a law firm, for example, more in legal and tax consulting, a software company for programming.

The larger the companies are, the broader are also their requests and therefore also the possibilities to take my chances within my own form of education.

We therefore recommend everyone to have a look  at the company profiles in advance of the events and  thus be prepared for an exchange.

Where do the Rainbow Days take place?

You can experience the Rainbow Days in 2024 in Munich, Vienna, Cologne, Frankfurt am Main, Tübingen and Hamburg, always directly on the university campus or in a great central event location.

Who is behind the Rainbow-Days?

For many years, the Rainbow Day team has been bringing people together for a career discussion through a variety of career services - and that is also our incentive today. We are additionally accompanied and inspired by our advisory board. Would you like to work with us? Take the initiative and contact us at info@rainbow-day.de

I like the format. Can I help support a Rainbow Day?

Anytime, and we are very grateful for that. Only if the Rainbow-Days become known to as many people from the queer community as possible, many great conversations can take place. Therefore, we would be happy if the Rainbow-Days are also heard through your private network. It's even easier with info material from us?
